LAUGH.

A lot of people have been complimenting me on the song LAUGH and how catchy, simple, intriguing it is. I'm thankful for this response, but I definitely have to give credit to God for the song, creativity and message radiating out of it. The way that "LAUGH" came about was through a time of prayer. I was sitting in my grandmother's house about ready to go to sleep when I heard the little voice in my head.. aka God.. say to turn to Ecclesiastes 3. I started reading the chapter... 

There is a time for everything,

 and a season for every activity under the heavens:

 a time to be born and a time to die,

a time to plant and a time to uproot, 

a time to kill and a time to heal,

a time to tear down and a time to build,

a time to weep and a time to laugh...

At that moment I knew that God was calling me out on the road with many bills that still hadn't been paid... monthly bills that had no one-time fix all payment options. I was a bit stressed knowing that I'd have to put all my eggs in one basket.. a basket He was holding and after reading this passage I asked in a frustrated tone, "What are you asking me to do God?" To my suprise, the word LAUGH stuck out on the page... since then my faith journey has never been the same. I've come to a place where I understand that there is power in my laugh.. so much power to create liberty and freedom.. power that can set captives free.. even when I am that captive. Are all my problems solved?? No. Is God completely in control?? YES. Therefore, I will LAUGH because it's ALREADY TAKEN CARE OF. God is good and I know that He has already paid all my debt.. I know that He has already chosen the right husband for myself.. I know that He has already healed my generation of their lack of rest in Him.. I KNOW. I also KNOW that if He can do it for me... He can do it for you. Believe Him once again and let out a big LAUGH! Thanks be to God for his goodness.

I'm going to leave you with an email that someone sent me. He's a dear listener and has even become a great friend over my musical journey these last few years. Hear what he has to say: 

You always hear talk about the end times. You always hear about end time prophecies.

 Do you know that LAUGH is an end time prophesy?  Why does God want all of his children to LAUGH? When Jesus comes again will he find his children LAUGHING?

 Are we all laughing right know? The answer is no!  Is it God's will for all of us to laugh? Yes.

 

 Laughter is a sign of faith. It is a joyful noise. Do I laugh all day every day? no. But very often when I need to laugh a comedy show is not the answer.

 IT IS A SOUND OF LAUGHTER FROM HEAVEN THROUGH MUSIC! That is the answer.

 That song is not just a song from Martay, It is a cry of our Father for his children. Every word of that song is an end time message.

 

 Laughter is a sign of Joy, Joy is a sign of faith.  Joy causes laughter, Eccl 5:20 says this, For he shall not much remember the days of his life, because God answers him in the

 JOY OF HIS HEART.

 Do not take this song lightly, For I am speaking to my children.  This is the sound of victory, this is the sound of triumph. O how I want my children to laugh. My children have refrained from laughter for to long. They have allowed the cares of this world to weary them. This was not my original plan for you. I am the creator of laughter, my joy is your strength.

 The sound of laughter must go forth to the nations. Fear not, for this is the glad sound. Let all the people say, Amen.
